2. Data subject

Data subjects are persons who have contacted Jofia via the web contact form, e-mail or other ways of communication.

The basis of data processing:

  • The legitimate interests pursued by a controller and the consent of the user form the legal basis.

The purpose of processing personal data and keeping the register

Personal data is processed only for pre-determined purposes that are the following:

  • contacting customers
  • maintaining customer relationships
  • marketing

The customer register can contain the following data:

  • e-mail
  • phone number
  • other data given by the registrant

5. The rights of the data subject

The data subject has the following rights. The requests related to the data usage are to be made via e-mail to johanna@jofia.fi.

Right to access

The data subject can access the personal data collected by us.

Right to rectification

The data subject has the right to correct her/his personal data if the data is incorrect or incomplete.

Right to object

The data subject has the right to object the processing of personal data if she/he suspects that the data has been processed in an illegal way.

Right to opt out of marketing communications:

The data subject has the right to opt out of using personal data to marketing communications.

Right to erasure:

The data subject has the right to request to erase her/his data if there is no purpose for processing the data anymore. We handle the erasure request and delete the data or give a legitimate reason why the data cannot be erased.

The register holder might have a legal or another right to decline the data erasure. The register holder is obligated to retain the accounting material for the specified timeframe (10 years) according to Finnish Accounting Law (chapter 2, Article 10). Because of this, accounting related material cannot be erased before the timeframe has expired.

Right to withdraw the consent

If the data processing of the data subject is based only on the consent and not i.e. customer relationship or membership, the data subject has the right to withdraw the consent.

The data subject has the right to file an appeal to supervisor authority

The data subject has the right to demand that we limit the processing of the contested data until the case is solved.

Right to appeal

The data subject has the right to complain to a supervisory authority if she/he suspects that we don’t process the personal data according to the applicable regulation.

6. Systematic data sources

The personal data is systematically collected from:

  • the data subject via web forms, e-mail, social media services, phone or other situations where the data subject gives personal data.

7. Systematic transferring of personal data

Data is not systematically transferred to other parties.

8. Duration of processing

The personal data will be retained for no longer than is necessary for the purpose for which it was obtained.

9. Processors of personal data

The register holder process the personal data. We might also outsource the data processing to third parties like the accountant. In this case, we ensure with contract procedures that that the personal data is processed appropriately according to the applicable personal data processing regulations.

10. Data transfers outside the EU

Personal data is not transferred outside the EU or the EEA.

11. Automated decision making and profiling

The personal data is not used in any automated decision making or profiling.
