I’m Johanna Oksanen, a Finnish translator and marketing professional. My passion is to bring translation and digital marketing expertise together.
What is Jofia?
Jofia is a one-woman translation service that was born in May 2018. I help your business communicate effectively beyond language barriers – taking today’s digital aspects into account.
Jofia’s core mission is to bring together the expertise of multilingual communication and digital marketing. Your goals and needs are always the number one priority when planning a customized solution for your needs. This ensures that your message reaches the desired audience effectively.
My background
I graduated Master of Arts in German Translation Studies at University of Tampere in 2014. My main areas of specialization are marketing and search engine optimized website content, but I also translate specialized texts in other fields, like user manuals in the automotive sector and other technical texts. Thanks to living and working abroad for several years, I have wide experience in international business communication.
My interest in marketing originates from my Marketing minor studies. I have also studied a Further Qualification in Digital Marketing Communication (SASKY, Finland, 2020) and a Further Qualification in Service Design (Gradia, Finland, 2021). As a curious mind, I constantly widen my knowledge by learning search engine optimization.
In my spare time, I am a curious adventurer and traveler but I also like to spend time in the pure Finnish nature. I love many kinds of sports from trail running and gym training to yoga, cycling and swimming. My other passion is fashion, and especially second hand styles.
